Introduction

The Ocean Conservation Exploration and Education Foundation (OCEEF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to exploring, conserving, and educating the public about the ocean. Founded in 2012, OCEEF uses technology to change hearts, transform minds, and advance awareness about ocean conservation and research.

Activities

The Fundation's activities include conducting ocean research and exploration to uncover the secrets of the marine world; developing educational programs designed for children and young adults to foster a deep appreciation for the oceans; advocating for ocean conservation to ensure the sustainable use of marine resources; and partnering with other organizations to synergize efforts and achieve its goals. Through research, education, advocacy, and collaboration, OCEEF aims to inspire and enact positive change for our oceans.

Programs

Some key initiatives include:

  • The Odyssey: A research vessel that travels the world, conducting research and education programs

  • The Ocean Classroom: An online platform that provides educational resources about the ocean

  • The Ocean Ambassador Program: A program that trains young people to be ocean advocates

OCEEF's mission is to advance ocean conservation by educating a new generation of ocean stewards through experiential learning. They believe that our ocean, rich with wonders yet to be discovered, is critical to our future.
